On Thursday, the 29th July 2010 was, in the Frankfurt office of the German Red Cross, a solidarity rally for the 2006 kidnapped by Hamas in the Gaza Strip Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit instead. Failure to comply with Hamas should sued for war crimes before the International Court of Justice be.
The efforts of the International Red Cross for the release of Shalit in captivity are not sufficient. After the rally, the representative of the German Red Cross was handed over a petition that was signed by all the approximately 200 demonstrators. He pledged to forward them to the ICRC in Geneva.
