appeal to the International Red Cross: Help Gilad Shalit! rally for the release of the abducted Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit by Hamas on the 10th
December, 12 in the clock Carstennstr. 58, Berlin-Lichterfelde
There is the General Secretariat of the German Red Cross handed over a petition.
Since the kidnapping of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit 25 June 2006, almost four and a half years,
his human rights are trampled underfoot.
On 1 June 2010, the Israeli governing body the International Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists
(IAJLJ) "the Red Cross once again formally asked to try to connect with Gilad Shalit
name. On 4 June 2010 was declared the International Committee of the Red Cross, that all his efforts to
to visit Gilad Shalid can be in vain. In support
could be declared by Hamas that such a visit to the place where Gilad Shalit held
is betrayed. This represents an apparent violation the International Declaration of Human Rights and the Geneva Conventions
dar.
The inaction of the Red Cross in this matter is shameful, especially since a delegation in the Gaza Strip
maintains that with regard to other relevant human rights issues as well
with Hamas here. Because of this unbearable situation, our association has decided
to be publicly active:
On 10 December 2010, the International Human Rights Day, the day on which 1948 is the
International Declaration of Human Rights was signed, the IAJLJ with the support of our friends and supporters
and in cooperation with other Organizations around the world demonstrate against
national offices of the Red Cross, to demand that the Red Cross
Hamas denounces and finally convicted.
